Awesome Julie..geeezzz that's a lot of miles in 11 days !!! I have the EXACT same suit for sale in the classified section ( same colors) ,can't even imagine doing a trip like that without a R-3 . Love to see some of your pictures !

HEY! Looky there!!! Lol.

Thanks guys!

That was a surprise to me, too, when I opened my emails! I was not expecting that at all. I posted that collage and an accompanying small paragraph on their facebook page when I returned from my vacation in July. That was when I only had about 8k miles on the suit. Now, I've got over 23k miles on the suit!

But my thoughts are still the same as they were then- I wouldn't have been having all these adventures if it wasn't for the upgrade in the riding gear. I've become one of those ATGATT people. *gasp!* I love my 'Stich.

The suit will be involved in a really good riding test this summer. Gonna rack up 7,000 miles in 13 days while hitting 19 states. The suit will venture through varying temperatures and altitudes and weather conditions. And the first stop of the trip will be a visit to the Aerostich factory in Duluth, MN.

Looking forward to reading the summer ride report.

If you care to share, which 19 states are u planning to visit?

Ohio. Michigan. Wisconsin. Minnesota. North Dakota. South Dakota. Wyoming. Montana. Idaho. Washington. Oregon. California. Nevada. Utah. Colorado. Kansas. Missouri. Illinois. Indiana. So in other words, not your corner of the country. Lol.

Congrats Julie, that is pretty awesome. My only question is, how cool is the stich in the heat?
This 'Stich, the R-3, is unlined. Keeps decently cool. I've been riding through Kansas with the temp gauge reading 103* on the FJR while traveling at a moderately high rate of speed- and yes, I've been warm. But I probably would have been worse off if I wasn't wearing gear- considering the sun exposure and evaporation would have dehydrated me. Wet the under clothes, drink lots of water, and try not to ride in traffic jams. Lol.

I am glad you posted those pic's, I was toying with that exact color scheme for when I actually save enough nickels to get a stich. Nice to see it looks good!

It's a nice color scheme. Not too vibrant, yet visible. And also not a dark color base to attract the sun.Depending on your size- lunch truck Larry says he has one for sale, listed in the classifieds. In this color scheme. :) just an FYI....

Not surprised as the annual 5-month sauna is in full swing now.

Disappointed, but not surprised....
