These are Rhode Island State Police. I took the pic recently at a patriot guard riders event. Looks like they may have a little road rash going on if they ever went down....short sleeve shirts?

I'm guess that's for the sake of the patriot ride. Like parade gear...? Maybe? Hopefully?

The CHP and the local city PDs in this area wear short-sleeved shirts. AAannndd those nifty jodpers (riding pants). I have often wondered why some motorcycle clothing manufacturer hasn't come up with a PD approved riding outfit (Understanding they need extra pockets, room for flak jackets, easy access to their weapons, etc.). I understand the reluctance to full face helmets (Citizens not being able to see the officer's face, etc., causing trust issues). One should also appreciate the motor officers skill and training but with that much invested in the man, why not protect him better?

Aerostich.... Andy Goldfines company makes & sells their clothing to police forces worldwide......as for the helmets....full face modulars would solve the trust issues....anything else mm2?.... ....

Hope I haven't made ANOTHER posting BOO BOO!! :clapping: Thanks now I can sleep soundly and restfully tonight Knowing ATGATT has a real definition. Thanks all you computer GURUs
