Robert here in LA county, any local get together rides on the weekend? There are so many nice roads for day rides in So California.

Actually there are only 5 of us and we don't like riding much together. We just sit at our keyboards and dream of riding with the NoCal folks. (JK) 
Welcome - I wouldn't normaly says this but Fairlaner is correct, watch the Cali part for rides, we do about one per month some times more.

I have my bike mildly apart at the moment. I'm getting it ready for a long trip up north. Usually I get together with the CalCoastRiders.com group. All sorts of bikes & riders, but more FJRs than anything else. Most rides start at the meeting place in Ventura, but some rides have a meeting location in Castaic. Check out:

Jill we will be doing another Solvang run in a fews weeks if you are up to it.... It was going to be this Saturday, but Johnny80's, DJbill and myself decided to do a 3 day ride to Monterey and San Fran.
We leave in the morning so i decided to postpone it for now, keep your eyes open for the next date.

I ride a FJR13AE and a Kawa ZX10 (well, that one is in bed right now here at home with a bad flu/road rash - wheels and all fairing, front of bike is off + oil pan is ripped real good).
I'm heading up to Monterey on my FJR some time within the next two weeks to get an Ohlins suspension installed if anybody is up for a ride. Date TBD. I'll post on Facebook when I know more.
