I have a couple in the barn, my favorite being a 1984 RZ 350. Anyone else?

If I remember correctly, the XS500 was only produced for 2 or 3 years. Also I believe it had a counterbalance to reduce vibration. I worked in a Yamaha shop when I was a kid and I remember having some in the shop for service.

'83 XS 650 Special, the last year Yamaha brought them into the US. Patiently waiting for a new top end and clutch pushrod bushing.

I rode the new FJR to the Idaho Vintage Motorcycle show this afternoon, I came home so inspired that I fired up the '79 XS1100 and went for a spin. I noticed two things on the old XS1100 that I wish the '16 FJR had, self canceling turn signals, and a helmet lock. While I'm not dumb enough to claim the XS has as much power as the FJR, it is no slouch, you better know where it's pointed when you whack open the throttle. All fun stuff!

1973 CT175 (CT3)

Just brought it home. A closer inspection reveals a bike in very rough condition.

After lots of time and money it's finally being re-assembled. I wish I had a current pic, as it's almost done.

I HAD a 1973 TX750. Counterbalanced twin, kind of a neat bike.

Nice! I worked in a Hon-Yam shop in the mid-80's and had a blast learning basic servicing and new bike setup among other things...got to work on or ride most of the bikes mentioned so far. Fortunately, I decided NOT to make a career out of it and worked there mostly in the summers while going to college.

This '77 that I had was made only ~6 months, sandwiched between the old style and the new style with cast alloy wheels and actual brakes.

OK, I need help downloading pictures. I have followed the instructions I found after doing a search and have had no luck. I downloaded my pictures to PhotoBucket and copied each of the options and just can't seem to paste it into a thread. I admit I am no guru, but I have had success on other forums. What am I doing wrong.
