Almost everyone has gone. The only two folks left are CBA members #0 & #1 (yamafitter & DCarver). We decided to wait a day for more favorable conditions to our Candy Butt sensibilities. We spent the morning helping the Rally crew pack up before they headed back towards Calgary. Here we are loading up the van and trailer under the BC liquid sunshine...

Finally all loaded up and Canucklehead (Jeff) & NSRider (Kevin & wife) were all set to head out...

Randy who only has a day ride back near Salmon Arm, BC was one of the last folks to leave on this day...

Buddy the Big Brown Bear has given up on those Pacific North Bed Wetters and asked me to take him to Hyder, AK to get Hyderized. More to follow....

The FastJoyRiders are safely back in casa Oyama. About 4 hours of mostly wet roads and one quick stop for fuel. Temps ranged from 50 in the passes to a balmy high of 62 when we rolled into our driveway. Thanks all for another great NAFO!

Home safely in Wenatchee, first leg to Grand Forks was miserably wet, but went south to US and 20 was mostly dry till we got home. Thanks to Jeff and his crew for a really good time.

Donna and I have made it safely to Leavenworth. Had about 20-30 minutes of rain and then clear sailing the rest of the way. Had to stop and strip off layers along the way because it got so warm! Off to Portland tomorrow to visit family and friends. B)

Beayoooootifull weather at Castlegar now, wish you were here!

Me and Yamafitter heading to dinner, in the luxurious dry 75f temp now!

Ps

Thanks to all that left beer, booze in fridge!

Wonderful hotel staff gave all to us CBA survivors!

"No need for all of us to get wet!"

Made it back home in Vancouver on HWY-3…

- Pouring rain from Castlegar to Christina Lake...

- Light to medium rain after that until Osoyoos...

- Sort of cloudy with sprinkles here and there between Osoyoos and Princeton...

- Pouring rain again between Princeton and Manning Park...

- Turned into cloudy up to Hope and the sun finally appeared around Abbotsford/Surrey...

I’m so happy we live in a time where you don’t have to warm up water on the stove anymore to take a warm bath...

Thanks to Jeff & everyone who helped him with putting this NAFO together, I had a great time!

:clapping:

See you all next time…

;)

Made it safely to my Sis's home in Auburn,WA. Nice and sunny here.

I'll be rejoining Griff on Tuesday for the trek back to flatlandtastan.

Achiu and I are home.

Carver, surprised you haven't told us about your new pillion.

Safely back home in Snohomish.

Wet leaving Castlegar, hit or miss showers until North Cascades and cold [46F] until we got to the top.

Thanks to Jeff for all the work and the volunteers for the banquet festivities!! See all y'all again soon!

Mitchy and I are on the way home. Stopped in Taber Alberta tonight.

Home safe and sound.

Rain almost to the border. Sun for just long enough to tease us. Rain as George mentioned over Washington Pass...it actually rained hard enough to scour the bugs off the front of my bike...LOL

Still, great roads, fun folks and an awesome time in Castlegar with everyone. :)

Son Seth and DaddyDon are in Oak Harbor, Whidbey Island with Dr. Rich and Susan, you should see this gorgeous place they have here; it is incredible, definitely impressive home(s) and property.

Going boating tomorrow and exploring with Dr. Rich on Tuesday. Start making our way back to Phoenix Furnace on Wednesday! Spending Thursday and Friday nights with Old Michael in Sacto!

After leaving Castlegar Sat. At 8 am headed to Banff, we looked north and conditions looked favorable to visit Kootney lake "along" the way. What we thought would be a nice little detour turned into a 8.5 hour firehose water application at about 100 kmph. We checked Rick Corwin's map (thanks Rick & good to meet you) in New Denver, to confirm our Garmin wasn't flipped out and headed to Revelstoke for dinner. After two ferry rides and countless miles in absolute downpours we would've called it a day there, but we had a reservation in Banff so we pressed on and finished our day around 9:30 pm. This morning we tried to see Lake Louise, but had the same luck as yesterday, nothing but rain, low clouds and wet! I hear the mountains around these parts are beautiful, but for now, we'll have take that for granted. We'll be back to try again sometime, but for now are kicking back at Invermere for the evening. Good to see old friends and made some new ones. Thanks to the organizers for making this possible and giving us the excuse to visit Canada on the bike.

Made it as far as Wenatchee tonite and will head for the barn in the morning. Staying in a Holiday Inn Express and got a 135.00 room for 77.00 using my VA card. I'll remember that.

Patti and the Sportster got wet but had a good day. :yahoo:
