, although my 30 year old mind really messes with me.

You're as old as you 'feel'... not as you have birthdays.

I believe that riding bikes (esp FJRs) helps you 'feel' younger !!!

It's funny, reading others posts over the last couple of years, one gets a mental picture of what you think they might look like. Somehow, I seem to visualize everyone mostly around my own age (55), based on their writing style. Seeing some tell their ages here, I've been really wrong on my perceptions.

Good point LKLD ... I've also noticed that some online personas are quite different than they present themselves in person. I tend to like to listen to the quieter and more simply-stated members, as they often have the most effective or valuable things to say, regardless of age.

:)

When I got my FJR I had been reading all the Forums and I was soaking up all the daring-do's of the members, reading about all the heroic crashes and recoveries, all the farkling & wrenching; I was really impressed with this lot of guys. I showed up at my first EOM anxious to meet this group of young, handsome and strong bikers. As I pulled in I saw long rows of FJRs, it was really impressive. What was confusing was the large crowd of old guys milling around the parking lot, it looked like an AARP meeting, where were all the FJR riders? Suddenly the realization struck me.....

Now I am curious?

Who the hell is the oldest rider here on the forum.

Old Micheal? The title does insinuate that.

Then again he could be old as dirt.

Dave

I know a guy whose son is older than his own uncle. Happens. And it's NOT Old Michael. Or me. I already told you, I'm 17.

Is Bruce/Longrider still active on here?
