BBG Attempt (Florida to Iowa)

Well this year has been a real OFF year for me. I will be attempting a BBG on my ride back to visit family.

I should get home from work at 4 pm Friday and I hope to be on the road by 7 pm. I prefer night riding in the south

during summer and arrive at a decent time to family in Iowa… hence the BBG.

I will also be attempting a BBG on the return ride the following Saturday. I am leaving the fuel cell at home and might

even take a nap both directions. Just need to feel some wind.

Probably do some riding to at least check out the Tornado damage and also enjoy some pie in Ottumwa.

One of my favorite rest stops is along the way. Lakeside spot with covered picnic table… very hard to pass by.

*I will be in Cali. in September on a ride ending in Pasadena and another ride starting at Cape Mendocino.
