Oh Don honey, so sorry to hear this. Sending lots of positive thoughts, healing energy, and a little love and hugs which I will deliver in person the next time I see you. Try to be a good patient and get healed up soon so we can see you in May!!

Great to read your post Don. Get well soon. Not sure who is typing this for you, but thank them as well. The board needs your smart ass-ness back ASAP.

Since you are back so fast, ball busting must resume immediately.

The bike did fare well, Maybe you should quit trying to ghost ride it like we did with BMX bikes back in the day.

Maybe you should keep some of those stickers off the windshield, they are supposed to be clear so you can see through them.

Who will be inspecting your packages and mail??? I am sure some items are contra-band.

Get well soon pal

Hey, Don and Don, the heliBoyz Brotherhood!

Welcome to the club, mi amigo!

Did you have a chance to get morphine while airborne?

Papa D! Never thought I would say this, but... Glad to seeing you posting. And somewhat amazingly, you are just as lucid as normal, even with the drug load I'm sure you are taking advantage of (I sure would).

Geeze, you really didn't have to go quite that far to secure your status as the Rugged BMW Adventure Riding Legend. But I guess you certainly got that job done.. That knee was looking pretty gnarly, Dude, but I fear the unseen shoulder will bethe tougher deal. Hang tough man...

Funny the bike didn't look too bad overall (compared to you) well, except for all those stickers someone put on the windshield.

Get better BeemerDonS. We're all pulling for you.

Pretty wicked carnage there Don. I see you wouldn't let the guys pour the good stuff on as antiseptic.

Looking forward to seeing you back in the saddle. I hardly know what to do as we suffer through the polar chill here and don't have your warm reminders of the great AZ weather.

Get good, and no more ride reports like this one please.

Hi Don,

Great to see you posting. I would never ever knock back a ride on a helicopter, better a second class fly than a first class walk and with that knee you would not have had a first class walk anyway. Looking forward to hearing how you are terrorizing those poor unsuspecting nurses.

Best regards

Steve

Don: to recap.

1. Sorry you got hurt.

2. Happy the technology is available to fix you.

3. Good on you for jumping under the bike to save it.

4. Happy Healing.

I'm with Howie. Too bad you weren't wearing a helmet. Will the docs ever be able to fix your face?

That knee looks like shit, and I've done sone heinous shit to my knees. Lol.

I'm glad you're posting up. Means your feeling better. All I can say is OUCH!!

Hey, Don, nice to s---------

*Shit. try again*

Hey, Don,---------

*Nope, not that time. either*

Hey, D--------

*fer cryin out loud, really?*

Hey, Don, nice to----------

*well, maybe if I type real fast*

Hey, Don, nice to see you back on here!

*OK, that's all I can do right now. I got through it and now I need to rest*

OK, I know that actually saying that out loud didn't hurt me nearly as much as your little incident thing is hurting you. Damn, dude! Hope the new parts fit OK!

Don, good to see ya back on the board! Hope you heal quickly.

Looks like your gonna have to be a "lefty" for awhile!

See you in May, I will buy you a double shot of Patron, one for the knee and one for the shoulder. The face was a pre-existing condition, so your SOL there.

Seriously, glad to have you back in (soon) one piece.

Greg
