We're men, Barb. We're hard wired differently. Of course we all wish him well and want him to heal completely first. We are all secretly cringing at what Don has in front of him right now. Words of encouragement are all we have to deal with this event. It's what we do. Go with it. Trust me on this one.oh, don't encourage the man.........sheesh!
Hudson, I'm thinking Nurse Claudia Shiffer. But! I'm sure Nurse Pam Anderson will do in a pinch.Don, if there is a god, he'll quickly send Nurse Pamela Anderson to your hospital room for daily sponge baths.
Heal up soon, ya big Irish lug. Jess sayin and snuff said.
Knowing Don's luck, he'd land Nurse Diesel. "Those who are late do not get fruit cup."
Yea. What Joe said. Heal well, Don. We're all pulling for ya.Here's to a quick recovery Don...JSNS
I spoke to Don last night and I can confirm that the doctors will be doing a shoulder joint replacement. The doctors went in first to clean up the knee and if I understood Don correctly there was also some ligament damage to the knee that was repaired. The replacement shoulder joint is customed made so it may be a while before they perform the shoulder surgery plus they may want to wait a little bit to give Don a little time to recover from the knee surgery.EDIT: Just read more posts and said that the shoulder joint is being replaced, not just a clavicle issue? Can someone in the know confirm? That sucks if true.
It's still hard for me to believe he was going fast enough to hurt himself....This was one hell of a painful way to get out of paying for a round of margaritas on our ride in Mexico next month.
Damn! A SPU sighting! Very generous offer, Michael, but hoping it doesn't require this kind of bad news thread for you to surface. And it looks like most of southern Oregon is represented:Heal up el jefe. Free goat when you get up this way again.
It's probably safe to say that it won't be the livestock.I say we put Don and Bust in the same nursing home and see who comes out on top.
