I'm a little computer challenge since I left my netback in mountain home but I'll add a more detailed account later. Thanks again Steve and everyone for the help and suggestions and advice. Thier wher some nice sweepers yesterda and the wheel felt solid. I was almost up to my old speeds.

Better cut back on all those espresso shots. You're shakin' so much that you hit the "add reply" button twice. :D

Glad it all worked out for you. Hope you're making it across the pass without too much rain. Crazy weather: it's the end of July and we're still waiting for summer to show up. :angry2:

I thought I heard something yesterday morning, but ya didn't even wave when you went by. Glad to hear you're on the way home.

Murry, it's a great relief to see how this turned out for you. Looked pretty dismal as we pulled out of the Red Lion lot. Brodie, Dan and I just got home late yesterday after an extended post-WTF-O run around north and west of the big party in Idaho. OK, little party. We had some preliminary updates via Brodie's i-phone, but good to know you're home. Echoing Big Sky's caution: when I bent my rim (with an almost-new PR-2), they told me the steel threads were surely damaged in the "hit." Hope you don't take a chance.

On a separate note, I've got about one day to get ready for a big trip (not on the bike) for another two weeks, but I'd like to post some pics and words about "our" WTF-O when I get back, but I can't really find much. Is there a thread with pics and RRs that I'm not finding, or do you guys just want to keep it a secret about all the gorgeous roads up that way? Can't wait to post the pic of Brodie's AE getting a jump start from a car (at least it had car tires too).

I'm definitly ordering new rubber. I have a sneaking suspision the bands are broken inside and it's too bad, I just put these on before the trip. It was acting a little wierd on the way home but I'm not sure if it was just the nagging little voice in my head or actually an issue with the tire. I'll be keeping my eyes open for a new rim at some point. I found one that sold on Ebay for $200 back in april so maybe I can come across something like that as opposed to ordering for $500. I did manage to find the rain coming over Stephens pass,, ahhh, welcom back to the wet coast. Is summer going to come this year out this way. I should have waved in Wenatchee but I must have been hanging on too tight after the espresso shots.
