Do you mean "Hush" by Deep Purple or "Tush" by ZZ Top.

They are both on my iPod, BTW, and good ones... :clapping:

I am sort of surprised that so many other folks are listening to essentially the same stuff that I do. I was expecting more variation in music genres. I'll be searching out some of those cuts that I am not familiar with, and I think that is the fun part.

Here's an off the wall suggestion (and I know that I am really opening myself up for a dog pile with this one) but it works:

Next time you are riding along alone, preferably on a quiet Sunday morning, put on some Enya.

It's almost like going to church, but without all the boring, talking part.

Then follow her up with Led Zeppelin - "Ramble On" and "Battle for Evermore" and you'll feel like you've transcended to Middle Earth...

It probably helps if you had extra 'shrooms on your pizza the night before.

Now that's some funny stuff there. Hey, has anybody ever done a poll on the average age of the FJR rider? Might shed some light on the music mix...

Yeah, I think the poll selections were:

Almost Dead

Older than Dirt

Really Old

Just Old

Young whippersnapper

I believe that 98% of us fell into the first category.

Waaaaaaaaaay too many songs to choose from so I'll just go by artist.

Most of the time I just like to get out on the country back roads and relax. for those times:

Johnny Cash

Waylon Jennings

John Denver

OLD ZZ Top (pre Eliminator)

Stevie Ray Vaughn

For those times when I just need some aggressive riding:

Korn

Disturbed

Audioslave

Best riding song ever? "Freebird"

Just quoting James Taylor here:

Never give Up, Never slow Down, Never grow old, and Never Die young.

After reviewing all of these selections it comfirms what I already know, my 4 gig mp3 is to small! :)

hehe.. One of my vids from EOM - I believe it was the one riding to Buchanon, has Freebird as a sound track. Unfortunately, when I uploaded it to blip.tv, they ripped out the audio. Doesn't matter, slap on your Ipod, hit bungie4.blip.tv and fire up freebird.

There are allot of great songs listed here already......but I have a couple of must haves to add to the list:

Waiting Room - Fugazi

Nice Dreams - Powermad

Cars - Fear Factory (featuring Gary Numan)

Crazier - RICO

How Long Can She Last - Webb Wilder

There are many others...but these are truly essentials!

Lot's a great stuff so far!

Here's 3 I like.

Boston, Smokin'

Billy Squire, Whadda Ya Want From Me

Blackfoot, Train Train
