It is with great sadness that I report back on this old thread. We lost Pat yesterday after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. I've stayed in contact with both Phil and Pat since my visit back in '13 and have gotten to know not only them, but also their families better. Pat will be missed for his sense of humor, enthusiasm for motorcycles and devotion to family and friends. Ride on Toura.

I had the good fortune of meeting Aussie Phil, Brian/festar, and my long time forum friend David/testpilot when I visited Australia last year. I missed out on meeting Pat but saw the reports of his passing on FB. Wish I could have met that man given the amount of love and respect those gents, and you too US Phil, had for him. Love sent everyone's way.
