it's been done before. Kaw KZ1300. long stroke I-6. 8000 rpm red line. heavy. no room for overbore. lots of torque. smoooooth.

was a nice bike but top heavy. has a dedicated following among vintage touring enthusiasts.

BMW version probably less top heavy with cylinders canted forward.

I had a CBX prior to buying my FJR and it was great! Except for the fact that it was 27 years old.

A modern technology 6 should be awesome and BMW builds the best inline sixes ever!

Interesting, but it several 6's have been made the past , I think Kawasaki had one a couple Italian bikes etc. I am sure BMW will make a nice bike, but it will cost probably twice as much as an FJR or C14
