OMG, that is one of the ugliest sportbikes I have ever seen. When I first saw the picture on this thread I thought it was a trick, but I went to BMW's website and - -yup, butt-ugly. What is BMW thinkning with those headlights, I mean c'mon! They seriously put that thing into production?!?!? The WSBK of Xaus didn't look half bad but this thing is ridiculous!

Let's see if I got this straight?

Asymmetrical=butt ugly, but we're going to sell it anyway.

I read somewhere that frontal aspects of motorcycles that looked like angry faces were more likely to be noticed by drivers of oncoming vehicles. Maybe this will have the benefit of being more conspicuous as well as reducing the liklihood of getting an STD.

Can you shrink the round ones down and put them on top of the parallogram ones? Might look good that way. Yah know, sort of like a Viffer.
Something like this maybe:

Now weeze talkin'! :clapping:

See, even I can be a better bike engineer than these BMW dolts.

I don't know who should be more ashamed of themselves... you for posting that or me for laughing out loud.

...I think we're both going to hell for laughing at that

OMFG, funny as hell!

I had been looking forward to seeing what BMW is going to release as the street version of the S1000RR sportbike that is competing in WSK this year.
Saw it just today.... holy fookin' crap.... this S1000RR writeup from SuperBikePlanet.com pretty says it all.

Here's my favorite quote from the article:

my first thought upon seeing photos of the street BMW S1000RR was that Pierre Terblanche deserves an apology.

My Physics Prof. in college had eyes like that. Hard as hell to concentrate when he looked at you.

With that puke shiiiit green I won't miss it. I'me thinkin engineering really fooooked up designing two bikes and somehow after getting all the tooling built had to get this piece of shiiiit together.
