I know where there's an '03 with a bit more than 7,500 on it. I think was like 137,500 or something.Massive suckage. You know, there are a ton of Gen II's with less than 7500 on them.
Not a bad idea. How about if it happens to grow a set of HID lights while it's at your place? The bike is in BFE Tennessee for God's sake. If you fly out there, ride to Canada, down to Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Australia and then back to California, you should have put the missing 6301 miles on the bike. If not, just ride it from Tennessee to Albuquerque. I'll let you store it in my garage for FREE. I'll call you when it has 7500 miles on it.
Dammit...There's always a catch. Not a bad idea. How about if it happens to grow a set of HID lights while it's at your place?
There's a loophole for people who relocate.I can't believe if you moved after purchasing a new bike etc they won't let you register it.
That won't fly. Kali DMV bases the mileage on what's written on the pink slip/bill of sale. Buy it in Tennessee with 6500 miles on it, put 1500 miles on it driving to Kalifornia, try to register it, and as Dudewado notes you'll never be able to register it in Kali ever again. Never. Uh uh. Nope.
Find a friendly soul who lives in New Hampshire and register it to your name at his address and ride it until you have 7500 miles on the clock, then transfer it to California.
