Cannondale E440

Is anyone familiar with Cannondales?

I've been thinking about getting back into trail riding and have run across what looks like a pretty good deal on an '02 Cannondale E440 enduro. I'm not, at all, familiar w/ them, but did find a pretty glowing review on Sound Rider.

Any insight appreciated.

Stay away.....................buy a Trek. Lance swears by them.

Nice bike with a lot of new ideas for the couple of years they were made. I would stay away, no parts who works on them.

I would buy any of the Japanese bikes or KTM

Oddly enough, my Trek fuel 90 is a 2003 model as well........and my second boy was born in '03. Must be something about that year

They're now ATK motorcycles -- made in Centerville UT (last time I looked, anyway).

They are more or less recognized as a modern XR400, not quite up there with todays high performance 450's. I have only seen a couple out on the trails, they have a nice sound.

Yep..........I'm an idiot eh. I had no idea Cannondale made motorcycles :blink: I thought you were referring to mountain bikes.

I haven't looked at it yet but will go check it out this weekend, if still available. The price is very tempting for what appears to be a pretty well developed bike and there appears to be at least some support from ATK.

No worries, Mattster. I could have been clearer in the original post. I've got a full suspension Fuji (police special) for when I feel like pedalling.
