Hi all; Here is a Friday topic. Who had to push the white stuff off the driveway or walks today. Lately here in Alberta, Canada it has become a daily activity. At least the snow is light and easily moved unlike the wet heart-attack snow I used to experience in the East. For those of you with the scooters laid up for the winter this a topic we can unite with. There is SNOW chance of this not being a white Xmas. Have a safe and healthy holiday no matter what your Xmas pursuits mat be.

No snow today, even though 1-3" was predicted. We've been getting it every 2-3 days lately, next opportunity is Saturday. We've been having late Jan. like temps here too :(

We've got 10 inches on the ground and temps down to single digits. Abnormally cold for here, usually in the 20's. More predicted for tommorow, so will fire up the snow blower, again. :angry2:

In NE OH we had freezing rain with a few snow flakes mixed in for good measure. This stuff is nasty. Talk about TICK-TICK-TICK, that's all I cold hear on my windshield this morning...

Is is spring yet???

At least I get to use a tractor. Plowed yesterday and the tractor is warming up as I type this. I did wire the tractor for my Gerbing gear so even though it looks like I am cold to the neighbors I am quite comfortable. :D

Why don't you head north with the tractor and heated gear. At least a foot here, probably pushing closer to 15"...ack

Yea...I haven't been able to ride in over a week

Been shoveling snow every second day for a week. We got about 8" on the ground. Now skies are clear and it is -30c at 10:45 in the morning.
Kay, I don't feel so bad now knowing somebody else is going through the same damn **** I am. Windchill at 1pm is bouncing off the -40's.

Farg, officially, its not even winter yet.

I just have to finish out today, then I'm off till after New Years. WooWoo! 2 weeks off, no plans, and -40's out.

.....

"Heeeeeeere's JOHNNY!"

We got about 8 inches of snow today. I've been too busy to shovel the driveway. I really need a snowblower because my driveway is about 130 feet long. All this cold and snow allows me to strip my new bike down and take my time with farkling to get it done right the first time without any pressure to finish up so I can ride:

If I left today the snow would be gone by the time I got there and you would still have to feed me.

We got snow on Monday night. By Tuesday afternoon it was gone. The weather is pretty nice for this time of year. I was gonna go for a short ride in a few.

Gosh, I'm glad it's Friday.

Close call today. I was driving down the freeway, and this minivan goes by me.

It had, like, 6 inches of snow on top of it, having just come down from the mountains east of here.

Well, it's just up ahead of me, and this chunk of snow, the size of a loaf of bread fer chrissakes, falls off and hits the road right in front of me! Pow! It just splattered all over. I almost ran right over it! And I didn't have snow tires on either.

So I know what ya'll mean. Winter sucks!

High five?

Sincerely,

...Bokerfork

Snowing like crazy now here in Vermont (7 PM Friday night). Looks like I'll have to get the snowblower out in the AM (am at work right now). And MORE on the way Sunday. Looks like a White Christmas in VT for sure! :yahoo:
