Absolutely love reading this! Gsquared gets big props in my book. He's helped out more than a few forum members if I'm not mistaken and his forum karma is about as good as it can get.

Congrats on the new ride Pops! Color me jealous!

Congrats! I bet that bike will look great in the wilds of Yosemite!

Fingers crossed and JUJU sent you guys make it!

Today I removed the old, faithful and still functional Cardo Scala Rider G4 from my helmet and put a new Cardo Scala Rider Freecom 4 Duoset in both my old Neotec and Dad's new Neotec. Then we set out to test the comm system, the new bike and Pop's stamina. Everything worked.

I have NO IDEA why he wore jeans today. That is not normal. He said we were going to ride at a Harley Pace today anyway...

Of course the rain caught us about 10 miles from home.

I did not check the mileage but we rode a total of 103 minutes of saddle time. Pop gets tired but he is happy and comfortable on the new bike. He had a great time and when we were riding in the rain without stopping to put on rain gear his laughter in my helmet speakers was a joy to hear.

Things are getting back to normal.

Pops without gear. Sorry FjR peeps, but I kind of get it. It's a dichotomy of living with fear or without. With full gear or without. Pops is Pops. Let Pop be Pops. He's overcoming mental **** right now.

Now then, kick his freaking jean-clad behind with steel toed boots.

No, as TwoWheelNut would say, a good JimmyKick is in order!

Sooo good to see Pops riding...

Gawd...I still haven't sent a card. I can't find one that says, "Sorry you fell down, and then your son bought you a lipstick red replacement bike."

I'm a ****** friend! Jeez!!

I'm super glad your dad is back on his bike!

^ I'll return to finish this post in a few minutes......

Good to see Pops out and on 2 wheels! It can be tough for a while after a crash. Just let things progress at their own pace.

Zilla, I like the "Blood of your enemies" red

Indeed, what a ****** friend!

Which reminds me, I've been meaning to send a "good to see you finally got home from the hospital and are moving around a bit" card. Maybe I'll do it today. Probably not, since it's kinda late for that. Wonder if I can blame the post office or a hurricane or sumthin......
