A good choice for where you live, I bought my 2+2 for when I head south! Your winters are longer and warmer than my summers!

If anyone is interested. I have a brand new cee bailey +4 +2 light grey tint reverse flip for a 2006 and up fjr. Also a +4 +3 the same light tint and reverse flip. The +4 +2 I installed on the bike for a day and rode it before deciding to try the wider one (which i liked better).

Last year I ordered one for my fjr and cee bailey managed to screw up the order somehow and I got 3. So anyway, both brand new with gasket. $140/$150 each plus actual shipping charges. Can arrange reasonable local pickup also if interested.

I'm 6' 2" and bought the +4 x +2. It was too much windshield for me. I sent it back to Cee Bailey and swapped it for a +2 x +4. Very happy with the shorter shield. I can still get completely out of the wind at full up and I don't burn alive with it all the way down in the summer.

I think you meant Pull the Trigger..

here's my +4 High +2 Wide Clear version which I generally keep all the way down as seen here:

Also mounted are the Two Headlight Guards from CeeBailey...Priceless...

need to ask some advise about cee baileys windscreen. i saw in cee bailey webpage there are two version of windscreen for fjr1300 one is call reverse contour and another one is standard design. and the measurement i saw for reverse contour year 2006 the height u can choose is 21" 23" and 25" and the standard design the measurement starts at 15" 17" 19" 21" 23" 25" i see that u all are using +2 +4 +6 for height and +2 +4 for width so how does this +2 +4 +6 in height u all refering to reverse contour windsreen or standard design windscreen for cee bailey by the way i am riding a fjr1300ae 2008 thanks and hope to get feedback from all of you guys soon thanks

The +# means (this many more inches bigger than stock), according to CB the stock windshield is 19" high by 15" wide. So a +4 +2 would be 23" high and 17

wide. I think they used to sell them according to the + numbers instead of listing the total dimensions.

The standard vs the reverse contour (AKA "reverse flip" refers to the shape of the screen, a standard shape is curved back all the way, with a reverse flip the shape "flips" up near the top. The effect of the reverse flip is to push the air a little bit higher so you get a little bit extra effective height out of it.

FYI with my +6 airflow is poor even all the way down I don't get any significant amount of air on my helmet let alone my chest. A +4 is only 2 inches shorter than that. (I can do basic math, where's my cookie?).
I just pulled the "trigger" (Better?) and purchased the plus 2 high, plus 2 wide, light smoke reverse flip. It was hard deciding between the plus 2 and plus 4 with great arguments on both sides, but I decided to go with more flow, then ultimate quiet. Time will tell how good my decision ultimately was, but I will certainly post my results either way.

Thanks for all your help,

Lew
Well Ulewz, what do you think of your choice? I'm torn too, being 6'0" and reading thru all these threads.
