Cool, thanks Ken.

Got home yesterday, I to want to say thanks, had a great time! It is always fun putting faces to the form names and hearing all of the Tall stories.

Hey ME! Glad you made it all the way back in good shape. You can lift the CFR logo at the bottom if you like; I took it off the CFR web site (hope you're OK with that, Jeff!). Maybe there's an official one coming along later.
Thanks D! I tried to get one off the website but ...I guess I didn't try hard enough

Hi GuysDo you have a CFR 2009 graphic we might be able to use - like the other CFR ones? Apology if it's somewhere that I missed

ME
'Official' CFR2009 Affinity Logo is shown below in my sig. I'm PMing the admins to have it hosted on the forum server.

In the meantime, it can be found here.

Update: CFR 2009 Affinity Logo is now hosted on the forum. It can now be found at https://www.fjrforum.com/images/cfr2009.gif!

See forum signature policy here for usage guidlines.

Announcement also posted here!

Jeff is working on an "official" graphic for sig lines, but until that appears the "lifted" ones look pretty cool!

Actually...they're working fairly well, and we're proud to use them.

BTW, we're moderately pleased to have been there!

Best rally ever!! Many thanks to our Canadian bretheren, especially the organizers, and to all who attended. What a great place to have a rally -- phenomenal roads, beautiful scenery and the best people ever. Gotta get up there again soon!

Arrived home Saturday afternoon 6/27 after another week in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. Judy joined me in Kalispell and got tested by rain, wind and 6 long days in the saddle -- at the end of the last (HOT)day, she was wishing she'd been along for the first week and the rally, too! Yep -- she missed a good one, and a shirt she now covets too.

Some ladies did the spa thingy, but the only pictorial evidence is of the MEMster I think.
Oh, not true. I'll be posting some pics very soon. Just got in last night after catching the bottom corner of AK on that cool ride (along with Dave and Diane) that Joseph and Steve extended BIG TIME! Had a ball, great to meet you all or see you again, etc., etc., etc. Next year in . . . where?

OM, the ride up to Hyder was pretty cool. You should do it next weekend.

So, for most of us, CFR is over, except for the CC bills, memories, and fotos.

I'm already planning, for real, the AK 2010 trip on WABS.

Oh, and I got in trouble for being 'sick', :***: Like when I'm on my death bed I'll give a Rats *** about one 15 minute scolding versus riding to CFR?

Some folks don't get it, others do - Thanks to those that do.

Well, ****, Don -- you looked pretty sick to me in Nakusp. :p

So it was cool that you were in Canada, but they got weird about you being sick?!? F'ing management types these days!

Tell'm you're having eye trouble.

You just can't see coming to work.

The socal contingent arrived home Thursday at 3... well 2 of us did. we left one in Portland with a busted clutch and one in Monterey with his better half.
total miles for me 3820.

Seems like so long ago (sigh)...

The trip continues with Fairlaner and I leaving SoCal Sunday morning last weekend and getting to Monterey that afternoon. Why? Because Steve has arrived from Portland after picking up the newly clutched bike and continuing his trip right from where it was hoisted onto the tow truck with a blown clutch a few weeks earlier. He rode the same route we had planned, down the coast and into Monterey. Richard suggested that we ride up to 'escort' Steve home. We met Steve at the hotel in Monterey Sunday afternoon, after a hot (and I mean WTF hot) and winding ride up 101 to Paso Robles then up to Namiecento and Arroyo Seca, taking the back way into Carmel. Beverages and Steaks that evening, and ending at the pool hall. Next morning 8am and I have a flat rear tire before we leave. Turns out to be a slow leak so we took off into the pea soup fog, Neck warmers mandatory... Lifts about 20 miles south and it's a terrific pace down PCH. Back into the heat at San Luis and arriving at Casa Richard about 4pm. Cool down for a bit and Steve and I head home to San Diego. As bad luck seems to follow Steve on this epic journey of his, we are about 20 minutes down the hell that is known as '405', and his bike dies, again! The ignition wiring has come loose and he Mcquyvers it back together and we are home... end of CFR trip 07-20-09.
