Hmmm... Giving this one some serious thought. We need to pin down our vacation dates within the next week, so we'll see if this fits into the plan.

So who is going to captain the three hour tour to Gilligan's Island now???
Oh I wasn't going to actually ride it! I nominate FredW though. That way I can put the shortcut in down the Nipissing Ghost Rd. He'll like that part!

Well if Fred is going to lead put them up the Hydro Cut from Capreol to Timmins. Fred will really enjoy riding his FJR across the top of the beaver dams. The "road" won't show up in City Navigator but if you have an old enough topo map it might show as the old construction road they put in back in the 50's when they built the 230 KV hydro line. Really wasn't a road as such but a few lines here and there painted on the rocks.

This sounds like a fun get together. I'll need to consider this as part of next yr's calander of events.

Anyone else from my area considering this? It's just a tad over 900 mi. via the UP.
Suggestion. Go north over top of Superior. *Great* ride.

Hell, I might as well enter the fray...

Allium sativum, commonly known as garlic, is a species in the onion genus

Or are you still trying to extract that garlic from your ass? We are taking the most direct route MapQuest offers to Huntsville, which takes us right through fecking Owosso, Michigan. Does that shitbox town of yours even have a motel/hotel? If so, I will book a place for the four of us on Wednesday, June 19; then, we of Stanley-Monkhouse Clan will caravan up to Canuckistan with you two on Thursday, 6/20/13! We are returning to Arizona driving through Magnificent Manitoba!

As it stands now Barry, four of us are heading to Huntsville. On the deck is My Donna and her oldest Granddaughter Rhianna, to the right in the pool are Papa Chuy and Son Seth. There is the outside chance that the other three youngest grandchildren may go to Canada with us - Left to Right are Gwendolyn, Zoe and Nathan. If there are seven of us, I will rent a large motor home and we will look like the Griswold's in those National Lampoon Vacation movies. Donna's kids have never been to Canada, Seth has been many times before. Can we park the RV at your curb and run an electrical cord out to the RV? You may know this already but I will say it anyway. Be sure you have written permission from the other parent(s) to take the children out of the country if they are under age. It may be a deal breaker to get across the border.

I personally already did know that but it is outstanding that Tom pointed out this fact, each and every year when Seth and I roll Northward for CFR I bring a Notarized Release: Stating Seth's Mom Jean's written permission to bring him to Canada; with a Certified Copy of our Maricopa County Arizona Superior Court Child Custody Declaration. I have been asked to produce these Documents each and every time we cross Nord du Ligne into Canuckistan.

Donna will be filing for Rhianna's US Passport in January, we'll know if Gwendolyn, Zoe and Nathan will be going by March and she'll secure their US Passports; if necessary. Once again, well done by huron52 pointing this out to anyone traveling with a minor!

If you're under 50 feet with the RV you can park in the drive, otherwise we'll use the neighbors side yard. Electric isn't a problem, 40 amp dedicated circuit out front.

Used ta use it to power my old powerwasher.

I think I remember you having that cheap car wash in your front yard. You hired a couple of canucks to work it, didn't you? I guess the bottom fell out of that business when you started snorting all the profits and that detergent you were using as cleaning fluid....
