****. :(

Awesome pics Mike, it really hits home when I see what I missed. I really don't know what bothers me more, missing the trip because of something out of my control, or, bailing on a friend. It still weighs heavy on my mind. I was relieved to hear that you really only had to ride one day solo.

There's always next year.... Oh, be sure to see my post re: Maurice Ntl. Park for Aug. 1

Mike! Fabulous photos! I'm SO sorry to have missed Beartooth and Yellowstone - especially when I rode right past them :( Another time !

Great to see you at the Rally

Hey Steve, You've got nothing to feel bad about. **** happens and we carry on. I felt bad for you! I know how much you were looking forward to this trip. No matter what, I had a great time and maybe we can get together on another trip sometime.

Mike

And that right there is what this fellowship is all about folks! Bungie was one of the first to register on the CFR site and was a tireless promoter of what a great time we were all going to have. Hell, I just felt sick when I heard that Steve had to bail on something he was that pumped about...

Next year in the Laurentians bud!

Dave, sorry that I could not make this great rally. Just curious, how did the FJR Vintage Rider Breakfast do?? Did we add new members. Would like to get their names and handles for history. Thanks and a great job by Kasey to honcho the Vintage stuff and all the folks involved in planning and execution.

I suspect strongly that I will be up in there in early September 2009 during the IBR which ends in Spokane. Got all my Canadian documents ready just in case.

Here you go, Uncle Dave. Some photos I took when the breakfast got started....well, soon after when Kasey showed up. ;)

I didn't want to use a flash because of reflection from all the gray hair and head skin that was abundant.

There was a sign in sheet being circulated and, IIRC, Pegscraper took a photo of it. You might send him a PM and ask for that photo. Perhaps Katherine still has the original.

Sure am glad I left ahead of you guys or I would have been it that picture. My only law encounter was 45 min at the border while they checked everything on the bike at customs.

And the cost of that encounter???? Was it double since two of them pulled you'all over???
