Bunch a goobers...
Not the way I took it, but I will go with that. The OP said "no more questions from me on this forum".. again, I took it in humor..
Hey post whore go back and read my post above yours. This whole thing from me was my hesitation to ask questions on the forum unless I was sure I had done a correct search. I appreciated all of the replies I received, but wanted to add the apprehension I feel when asking a question.Hey Jer,
Go back and reread all the replies. I just did and I sure don't see where anyone said anything negatively, or about doing a search or it being common knowledge, or anything of that kind. I think we were all trying to be mostly helpful with your question along with a few jokes to each other about typos and "no need to change oil or coolant" thrown in. No need to walk softly around here, even on Fridays.
Hey Snudge are you telling me I do not maintain my machine. I don't feel asking for an easy method of getting to the radiator cap is a piss poor attitude. You are the type I was referring to.Change the coolant every two years, it's not rocket science, just do it and be happy! Or, don't bother, run the bike as long as you like with minimal maintenance and sell it on to some poor guy who will end up paying the price for your piss poor attitude to servicing, depends on how long you intend to keep the bike. Your choice. Ignore all the recommended service intervals and eventually even an fjr will fall apart, looked after, and it will go forever. Just saying.
All I want to know is what everybody wants to know.Good grief, do they still have radiators and wheels on that model year?...edit to say: this is on my 20914...
Easy Jer... I'm pretty sure that Snudge's reply was aimed at the post by Rob saying that he never changes his coolant, not your OP.Hey Snudge are you telling me I do not maintain my machine. Red of course. They repeat the colors every 18,900 years. All I want to know is what everybody wants to know.Good grief, do they still have radiators and wheels on that model year?...edit to say: this is on my 20914...
What color is that baby, Fred?
Not helped by the forum software no longer including the name and time of any quoted post, moaned about, but apparently nothing can be done....It would be helpful if people quoted the post they are replying to, any time it isn't the one immediately preceding.

I have been on this forum for 8 years and have rarely posted an opinion and maybe I should have keep my opinions to myself, but it is probably too late for me to change. I am getting ready to leave for a breakfast one of my daughters is buying me in celebration of my 75th birthday.Jer just because you did a search and did not find it, does not mean it has not been covered. You are looking for answers and thats what the forum is for so ask away. You will always get an answer but you will also get a little ribbing. Your turn will come if you stick around long enough
