Cut down windscreen pics, please

I'm wanting to cut down an extra windscreen I have. It's a large National Cycle V Stream. I find the OEM screen too tall for my liking but don't want to ruin that one in case I good up. So I'm going to cut down the larger one.

Do any of you guys have cut down screens? Would you mind posting some pics of how yours turned out? I'm thinking of taking about 4" or so off the OEM screen to give me a slightly more sporty look.

This OEM shield was tinted and cut down dramatically by the previous owner, Xwinger, who donated it to me a few months back. Much cooler riding on +95* days than stock height. I don't know how much he cut off, but the top of the shield sits about level with the tops of the mirrors.

I have Cee Bailey +2 reverse contour screen for cooler weather, but for summer riding I really like my cut down OEM screen, actually it works much better cut down then stock

I'm 5'10" and the OEM screen is cut down by 6". In the full down position the airflow hits me around mid chest, and in the full up position it hits the face shield, so plenty of options if you need to do some slab riding to get to the nice roads. Obviously this shorty screen is a bit noisier than the barn-door many of us use for cooler riding times, but it's worth it for managing the summer heat.

I marked the curves on the corners using a regular roll of duct tape for the shape.

Thank you for the pics, guys. I've gotten a good idea of what it'll look like with a shorter screen. I'm going to mount up my V Stream tonight, mark it up and cut it down. I want to experiment on that one first.

I'm not sure if I want to cut the top straight across or put a radius on it. I think I'm also going to make it a little narrower than stock, leaving only about an inch or so on either side of the "W" mounting bracket.
