I guess they were alright, those trials tires just seemed to hook up so much better. Of course riding style, skill (or lack thereof in my case) and riding terrain very much impacts everyone's perception of different tires."Scott, why have the 606"s fallen out of favor with you? No complaints with the 606's, they are a great tire for the ridding that I do. I just thought the Mefo looked like a nice aggressive tire and might give them a try. The only downside that I can see is the initial cost but depending on how long they last, they might be a better deal than the 606's.
BTW, still looking for a good front rim (complete) for the KLR.
