My order confirmation date was 10/16/2005. My dealer showed me the dealer web site, all of his (4) A's were listed as April deliveries, none have been received to date.

Oh really.

I started to supect my dealer screwed something up. I am not happy you haven't received your bike but I am glad I'm not the only one. I ordered 11-03-05. There may still be hope.

Awesome, I am scheduled for an April delivery also and my dealer is not on the list :clap: Now my frame sliders can come in before I pick the bike up. Plus I get to do some more work on the old bike to get it ready for resale. Damn I'm happy <_<

I called Yamaha this afternoon and the issue is the d&@%m bags. They are due in Wednesday and they will begin shipping the remainder of the April bikes.

What's confusing about this list is that (according to Tony and others) some dealers who are not on the list have in fact received bikes. It has something to do with whether Yamaha has invoiced the dealer for the bike or not.

My dealer is in Mt Vernon,Ohio(2300 miles from my home).He's been on Yamaha's butt because none of his FJR's have showed up yet. Yesterday(April 25) Yamaha told him 5 of his are in a warehouse and should be delivered within 8 days. They said two more will show up in AUGUST ! Mine's one of the 5.Ordered it 1st week of Nov.It was SUPPOSED to be here in April. Screwy system,this PDP thing.

Once the bikes are "At Warehouse" they will move out very quickly. The order desk will always give some 8-10 days for an answer just to cover their ass.

His August bikes are the ones he ordered as open stock.

All warehouses should invoice when the product is shipped. It may a smaqll lag in appearing in the system as I have seen this before, but will normally show up the following day. If the dealer pays it of as soon as he sees it invoice on the dealer system not the locator then it will never appear.

Last Tues (18) my dealer said it was in the Atl whs. It showed up on the list for the 25th YAMAHA OF SYLACAUGA SYLACAUGA AL (256)245-2255 FJR13AVL It was at the dealer on the same day of the list. see my post Baloon got popped.

The Chicago warehouse delivered a shipment to my dealer today although my FJR wasn't on it even though the bike shows it was in their warehouse yesterday Now that's aggrivating. I guess it's possible the shipment went out the day before yesterday although considering Chicago's 5 hours from here, who knows....

Hopefully I make the next truck out. Maybe Tony will print another list At least my dealer sold that gorgeous black interceptor he's had in stock for the past 2 weeks. It was hard to refrain from buying it in lieu of the FJR. The folks at Honda need their head's examined for not providing better pictures of that bike on their website. The black is really a deep metallic gray of sorts, it's really impressive looking in real world, their pictures completely don't do it justice.

Rivgar,That's a pretty big smile on your face in the photo. The bike looks great. What are your thoughts after the initial ride?

To answer your questions. I like the bike very much. The more I ride it the more I like it. It is electric smooth which makes it less exciting to ride than my TLR but it is a lot more comfortable and easier to ride slow. The torque and power seem very good, fit and finish is very good, the bags are roomy, it is very comfortable for my body, all and all is it a very sweet bike. My only complaint so far is the kick stand which seems rather wimpy for a bike of this size and weight.

I am quite sure you will like your FJR, hopefully it will be here soon for you.

I am glad that I can keep my TLR for the short more spirited rides, I will use my FJR for communting, longer rides, and two up riding. The V(L)-twin on my TLR is much different than the I4 on the FJR which makes the two bikes very different which is a good thing. Life is good!

My Dealer told me Sat that Mine would be shipped Friday. Today I stopped and they were putting it together. WOW!! No bags but like the man said "don't need bags, just good weather"
