I hope to be able to make this Death Valley run. It is always great to ride there. There are some family events being scheduled at that time, though, that might conflict. I probably won't know how this all sorts out until after New Year's day.

You can try the Amargosa Opera House and Hotel which is about 8 miles away. I'd recommend making a reservation so you have somewhere to stay and you can always cancel... I'm also pretty sure there will be some flux at Longstreet as we get closer so try calling back every couple of weeks.

Just got off the phone with Kathy and at this time she has 14 rooms available for February 13 Saturday and the 14th Sunday, her direct number is 1-760-852-4441. You can also use Booking.com or Expedia.com to secure your room, do remember that it is RUSTIC (by that I mean good enough for Canuckistanis, eh!). Took Ms Ty's advice and tried the Longstreet Casino first, just now - they were able to book two standard rooms for me - we are in! (with BajaMark and the lovely Diana)
