Installation is just an artist's trick.It is realitively easy.
You need:
1. The decal, of course.
2. A much smaller version of the same decal.
On a transparency if you have an over head projector.
On paper if you have a opaque projector. (cheap ones available at teacher stores)
Electronic if you have access to a PC projector.
3. One of the above devices to project the image onto the bike.
Use the projector to shine the image onto the bike.
(move in and out to match the size of the decal)
Then cut and lay the decal over the projected image, a piece at a time.
Time consuming. But the result will be as perfect as your patience.
If you are a perfectionist:
You must be way careful of any surface grime or imperfections on the paint.
They will show up though the decal. Especially, if you a wrestling with a large decal.
If you can pressurize your garage with a filtered window fan, for a day before hand,
you can eliminate dust particles getting under the decal. Not many people have access to a paint both.
Otherwise, just avoid doing it outside or in a dusty garage.
