I think the "bitch" term has different uses depending on geography. Down here in South Louisiana, it is not used casually, when you call a woman that, things get ugly rapidly. I understand what Majicmaker is saying, in other parts of the English speaking world it is almost a title or a compliment.

My wife would not be happy with me if I were to use that term on her. Of course, she is not usually happy when I am in the room anyway.

Redfish, sounds like you were born and raised a Southern Gentleman. But, Trust Me on this one my Friend, There are Bitches out there! I was born and raised in the Bronx where most of them reside.. :lol: The word Bitch isn't necessarily a Bad Thing. The women I grew up with wore the Tee Shirt loudly and proudly! It's just a word that describes an Attitude. Strong, Tough as nails, Assertive, Self Sufficient, they can hold their own and they aren't going to take any Crap from Anybody. Don't know how they react in LA but, In the Bronx when upset, they will Kick you in the Gonads with a running start and when you are bent over in Searing Pain they will roundhouse an upper cut that will tear cartilage in your nose! Then they'll break out a Hankie to wipe the blood off your face. My Kinda woman!

Those are the Best! I'm attracted to that type of women. They make the best partners Ever. The problem is, that "Attitude" eventually gets directed at YOU!! Just like with anything else, if you don't check that attitude up front you are headed for trouble. When Checked, Now they know the Alloy of your Metal and realize that they have a Real Man by their side. They are just checking to see what they have on their hands. Just because I am stupid enough to make a bitch LADY mad at me does not mean I am stupid enough to do so where she can get away with murder. If/when I enrage our lovely MEM I intend to do it out in the open with the hope that some of you will take pity and pull her off of me!

Truly, I hope it never happens. The lovely lady that lives in the house I where I pay the mortgage has taught me much in the art of diplomacy. I have spent enough on flowers and "I'm sorry" cards to pay cash for a 2013 FJR. If I can smoothly talk my way out of having MEM ride all the way down to Louisiana to kill me, so much the better. If she does ever make it this way I would rather we be friends.

Yep, It's different alright. When I ride to meet a group of female friends who called my to join them, my first words out of my mouth are: What's Up Bitches?! They all smile and look. Might be different if I didn't know them. :lol:
