Stock there is SPORT and TOURING. Ivan is going to unlock the third mode.

My '07 FZ1 had Ivan's flash and in conjunction with all of the other mods, it was fantastic.

If there was already a third drive mode, it seems counter-intuitive that Yamaha would leave it there locked inside the ECU when they could be using it in their marketing of the bikes. If he is creating a third drive mode, he must be either creating the code from scratch or merging the two existing modes. I'll sit back and wait for the positive first-hand reports on it.

And he'd have to find a way to tell the rider - S, T, ST? Yes, that should do it. Not that I want a 3rd mode. It's extremely rare I want any different response than S gives me.

Maybe there is an "economy" mode that reduces the output to the 100 HP limitation for French bikes?

(I understand France lifted that restriction in 2016)
