Alex. Top rate work my man! Excellent project choice, too. Top of mind for many here. :D

now, for the rest of the OffTopicans, I'd like to politely request this thread be allowed to stay on topic. As interesting as the "filler discussion" is, I simply think it belongs elsewhere. To put it another way, it's 7:23 am here, I'm on my iPhone and it bugged me having to scroll through all the unrelated slop over the last five pages looking for updates. ;) . (I think the first way I tried expressing myself was much more polite.)

Now, all this said, I expect to get flamed and given this thread is about a gas tank, there's bound to be some fumes around, so fire away. I can take it. I mean, so what if I pick up a copy of Soldier of Fortune magazine, hire a sniper and send him/her to roam the country looking for folks who dissed me. Trust me, the list is long, so it'll be a while before they get to you. Go ahead, sound off. ;) :D

No dissing, just wondering how adding a message about how there are too many off-topic, "filler" messages and requesting responses to that message about how there are too many off-topic "filler" messages solves the problem of there being too many off-topic, "filler" messages.

Sounds like a message from the "Department of Redundancy Department"...

I had to laught at the large font.

Hopefully I can get back in the garage tonight and make some progress filling the side areas. I want to get some miles on the tank before starting any finishing work.

I thought the flu virus was out of my system but then it came back even stronger. This weekend it felt like a horse was sitting on my chest.

First off, stop screwing off at work and save the forum for when you can actually sit at a PC. And don't tell us you're commuting while browsing on the iphone, that's not an improvement.

Second, many of us, including myself, have no need to hire a sniper, we can do the job ourselves. And who needs that level of BS, a simple ***** slap will do the job. Talk about escalation.

Third, dude! You have no idea do you? This is the FJR Forum. Don't make me ride up to the Costco you work at and spill something for you to clean up. ;)

Keep up the great pics Alex. It will be interesting to see how much more fuel and range you get from your art project. Looking good!

LMFAO. You guys crack me up! Always a creative flame in this place. :D

Alex. I can have my sniper shoot the horse on your chest if you like. ;)

If that horse craps on you, you might be the world first receipient of a Clydesdale Steamer... ;)

Joining the inmates here - going OT in an effort to catch up! :D

Now I'm confused. I think I forgot what the point of this thread was.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't give it a bigger fuel tank?

Or is it that you can lead a horse to a bigger fuel tank, but you can't it off Alex's chest?

Wait, I've got it!

You can lead a horse to water, but even if you can get it to drink, the extra weight will result in reduced mileage, so you might as well just shoot the horse now. If for some reason you can't shoot the horse, call a sniper in to shoot it for you.

If you shoot the horse, you'll have less horsepower.

And as Larry the Cable Guy said, "My horse broke her leg and I had to shoot her...now she's got a broke leg and a gunshot wound!"

I keep looking at this thread hoping to see an update with some pictures of the finished product....

:jester:
Man, if we ever needed odot to come out of the woodwork and say: "You totally ignorant worthless bunch of twats!" this is it!

This is a great tread, funny as hell and actually has a valid topic of interest to many. Thanks Alex, you've created more than a larger tank.
