My son and I are going on our first Father-Son trip to Dillsboro, NC. It's not far from the EOM so we'll stop in and say hello. We'll arrive at the hotel in Waynesville late Friday afternoon. I sure hope to see a lot of my FJR friends there. I bought my son a Ninja 650 and set it up as a little sport tourer with Givi side cases and a top case. He's thrilled to go and I'm even happier than he is about it. Trevor is 17 years old and this will be his first touring experience. He's already got the bug like his dad. Our plans are to ride the Cherohala Skyway and The Dragon on Saturday. Ride safely everybody.

Changed my plan on a whim, cause I wanted to and I riding solo today. Made it to West Virginia tonight. Still going to meet Tom and Full house in Tazewell in the morning at 10.

Today's ride was great even though most of it was on interstates. The weather couldn't be any better. Not a cloud in the sky. A slight tailwind and 78 degrees

I rode it We'd. Met 3 bikes and 2 cars. Fugging east coast traffic!

Reminded me a lot of sections of Ca 36 in places.
