Enjoying talkin with the boyz at Rocky Mtn Steel Horses in Waynesville.

Only 90 minutes from home and burned that rear tire clean off. :D

(Sorry to Jim, Iris, and Art for slowing you down yesterday. :-/ ....)

Cherohala riding and views were awesome yesterday!

Mountains are beautiful today...

Mark,

Glad your having fun melting tires.

Arrived in time to take one work call. Off to lunch, then another work call this afternoon. But looking forward to shenanigans tonight and tomorrow!

Joe, I'm in flower sniffing mode today by myself on 215, 276, the BRP and a few secret roads.
Mark,

I'd much rather be there...than sitting at work, on this side of my computer screen. Have a beer or two for me tonight, while hanging out in the parking lot.

Have a great EOM.

So many forum names were placed with names today. Walking around the parking lot from group to group. Fellowship, common ground, and similar stories are over flowing tonight in the parking lot of the Maggie Valley in. Lots of people are trying out asdgirl's spyder. Many are lusting over the 14s red mistress. Zilla is hitting on guys, AJ is handing out punches to the balls. More lies are being told here than at Shawshank Prison.

Sounds a normal FJR get together to me...

Great riding today. We ran a loop north of deals gap and the weather was fantastic. We crossed many fjrs Lomg the way. Camping at Linville Falls near the parkway tonite. Rain coming Monday so we may motel it tomorrow night. Stay thirsty my friends...

That table was THAT table :)

I sat with FYB and the lovely Janet along with KJ and TominCA.

Can not even come close to expressing how much fun it was putting faces to all the eastern names. Once again the forum has allowed me to meet the best folks on bikes while enjoying some really great roads in the eastern US of A.

Huge kudos to the EOM crew and all the effort in making this a great event, I will have fond memories of my first trip to this area.

Many hats and keyrings were won by the horde.
Total sham on the hats, keychains, and a freaking Hewlett Packard polo!!! I understand that all swag is swag, but not all swag should be swag!!! Good thing the roads, comrades, and fun were good enough to make up for the unswag swag.

Overall great event. I learned so much about these great bikes. I shall return.

At some point I will put together some final thoughts. Maybe the 11 plus hour ride home tomorrow will give me time to put it all together. I know this group takes no prisoners, so full on roasting will commence. I feel like anything goes and if said in the interest of humor, it's all good.

I will start it out by saying some tall guy was wearing a t-shirt that was the right size for someones child bride!!! (No names yet, gotta get out of town first)

Cav.

We enjoyed having you here, Bugnatr. You were awarded the prize for being the member that traveled the farthest to get here. That right there is worth a BUNCH of good Karma points. Spread the word far and wide on the "other" coast that these roads are pretty Sweeeeet! :D

Sorry I missed all the fun this year. Will not happen next year. All ride safe getting home. Too much happening here to make the trip.

Has a date been set for next year yet?

If your final thoughts are anything like the one above you can keep them to yourself.
