Yo Joe and Victor, is this Old Geezer still hanging out at the General Store on Maggie Valley Road? Last time I stopped there on an FJR ride he was rocking away on the porch while drinking moonshine from a clay jug, plus he was smoking a corn cob pipe that smelled really "funny" ese! Wow... you guys might as well start dancing in a circle with drums. Just asking for it...
Lol, if you wash your bike (like me and a couple of others) you will hear snickers be pointed at. At best, the hotel may provide rags. Instead, bring your own rag and drying towel or chamois and use a waste basket as your bucket. It works every time!

I've been bringing chocolate ice cream to the all vanilla party now for the past couple of years. One flavor is just 'too vanilla!'. BTW, vanilla is my flavor of choice, so it's not a knock by any means.
I'd say just no crazy loud pipes.
My buddy with a fat boy w straights thinks it's funny to drive in my driveway and whap n blap the crap outta it... well, until my glass detection (burglar alarm) goes off. Then I get the phone call etc... I'm looking for a good revenge idea when he does it again. Taze him (so far) is my no.1

2 weeks and so much left to do!
tby's bike has been in the shop a week now. All it needed was a service and a new tire. Apparently UPS messed up (who knows who messed up really) and they say it MIGHT be in today, which means we MIGHT get his back back tomorrow. If not, we'll get it back Monday.
We ordered a new set of bars for me. We are getting some from the Spyder ST because they are a tad taller and a few inches closer so I can reach again. I don't sit the same way I did before my back surgery and now I can't reach the bars without leaning forward and then leaning back, stretching my shoulder, shoulder blades, and neck muscles causing massive amounts of numbness and tingling and over all 'I want to die" feelings every night. So, new bars are on the way... and I need to get my new tire installed before we go. I like the idea of packing well in advance. It won't be the night before, thought, that's for sure.

Oils got changed today and I washed it like never before, and.... I wash it all the time. Tomorrow, Wax! Yeah, I wax it too. It looks prettier.

I'll confirm with the manager on the wash station - they have done that in the past - provided a hose, bucket, towels out back for wash station. With the MSTA group on deck, there might be a line to use it...
At this point, I'm sure Jim and Iris have googled and plotted a GPX to the nearest 3 car washes, so they might be able to offer some alternative recommendations!!

We usually bring our towels, soap & wax on our trips. As mentioned above, the plastic trash pail, filled with water, works for us too.
Though a car wash or wash station would be preferable

Gotta have my bike all clean and sparkly or it doesn't feel like it rides right.
