EOM 2015 - Location Discussion

I've stayed in Little Switzerland a few times @ Big Linn Lodge, though. In order for proper exploring of SW Virginia, you might think about staying closer to VA or in VA. Little Switzerland is a decent distance down the road. Not too far to get into VA. but you'd need to go in & then out without time to explore.

This was actually mentioned as an additional venture, a bucket list one. -Or- a radar detector friendly one to those snebula's lurking.

Mark must be on the pot, cuz, he has to have a comment!... a guy with like 50,000 ones! lol.

Wayne happened to be in our neck of the woods this week and we got to meet up for dinner tonight. It's looking like EOM 2015 will be Lewisburg, Sept 25-27. Mark your calendars.

It's bambi season here, so pardon my absence while I put venison in the freezer...

Initial contact has been made with the Quality Inn in Lewisburg, WV. I will nail down rates for the room block next week and post up when they have a group reservation name / number.

Weekend of 26-27 September is open and fits my schedule, so that's the target date.

There's a ton of discussion I missed here, sorry folks...some interesting ideas...if Rom went to this "Wheatonfjr" version, I can only imagine where the conversation would do after...

So long as there is the same level of staff support this year as 2014, then all will be on track for a spectacular visit to lewisburg. I'll have details worked out soon for the hotel stuff.
