Maybe it's just me, but I think we're getting off cheap on this. This sorta thing could be $100, if you think of all the costs. JSNS

And I personally thank you for all the work that you put into this, so the rest of us working stiffs, can have a great time.
Jumping on this bandwagon... I've organized many events and totally understand the risk that an organizer takes... I've been left on the downside before and can completely and totally understand CYA. If anyone thinks they can do it better or cheaper, then step up to the plate and take on the next event... you'll learn all kinds of stuff from that... both good and bad.

From me, thanks Wayne!!

Nope, it's not just you, Rob. This is inexpensive as Hell when factor in the Fun, the riding, the hanging out with your moto family and great friends, the tequila in the parking lot. All of that is Priceless!

Speaking only for myself, if Wayne does eat free I have no issue with that whatsoever. Organizing an event of this size is a task I wouldn't want to undertake. I've had enough trouble with getting firm commitments from folks just for a breakfast ride! Herding cats like this, we should at least reimburse his aspirin costs!

Thanks Wayne! You rock!

LOL, Wayne, you feeling the love yet? If not let me add some... I've had to organize things like this when I was an exec officer and I am extremely grateful for all the hard work you're putting into this and have put into these and other events in the past.

I didn't notice the price increase. I guess I'll have to switch to cheaper beer for the first one or two in order to make up the difference. Or maybe ride 50 miles less in order to make it up in fuel savings. But, probably not.

So as not to seem like a dog pile on Tom (after all, he just asked a question), I'll get us back on track.

43 days, or 1 month-2wks until EOM! I love saying " I'm heading out next month to EOM!" to my family and friends. :hyper:

It really was just a question, and not questioning Wayne who puts out a lot of effort to organize and herd the cats. In the scheme of things, $4 is not a concern, but I thought the question was fair. Thanks again Wayne.

I see Adirondack Jack is coming! (Real name is Dave). He owns the "Original Grip Buddies" company, very KOOL to have him onboard!

I ordered and just got a set of these in the mail. Anxious to try them out.
NICE!

There is a little "twist" to the install. If you don't have them on by this event, bring them with you and Dave will professionally wrap your grips for you! (he has done so at every event that I've been to w him).

>> I talked w the owner Dave (AdirondackJack) last week. He said he emailed the organizers of this event (I'm thinking Wayne/ExtremeMarine ?), anyways, he wants to give away some sets for swag/door-prizes.

@Wayne, email him back bro, tell him about the charity this all benefits and that KJ says he will buy his beers.... all weekend long!

The posts here are exactly why the efforts to put this event together are worthwhile - thank you for all the support.

This is one of the things that keeps me going. Work and life suck for me right now in a lot of ways; work caused me to miss NAFO and the dual sport adventure of a life time, and many other things contributing to general "adulting sucks" scenarios playing out right now. What gets me through is that I know in about 5 weeks, I'm going to get to see and ride with some of my very closest friends and best peeps on the planet!!

@Tom - it's was a question, a very reasonable and acceptable one in my mind and that's why I put the effort in to answer it with more than a " because I said so..." type answer.

@KJ - I'm pretty sure Gerald emailed him, but I will confirm tonight!
