Time for the Fall gathering, bench racing and tech day.

Saturday October 13th at my house again. (If you haven't been here, PM me and I'll send you the address) Starting at 9 AM going until 5 PM.

here will be a swap meet also. Bring your stuff you want to trade or sell.

Try to keep in mind if you are doing something that takes a lot of time, that it may not be the best place to do it. Some have tried to do a cruise control install for the first time and have not been able to finish.

Topics suggested so far are:

Grounding system

Tire changes (I have a No-Mar) for those who need to

TBS

PAIR system block off

Various electrical and electronic additions

Brake system flush - please RSVP this (Seattle Ty, FJokeR07

We are limiting the number of valve checks to 2. Sign ups are first come first serve

Valve checks:

1. Biker skier (gen I)

2. Low and silent (gen II)

The valve check folks will need to be here early (8 AM ) so their bikes can cool down and get the bike stirped down and ready.

Bring pictures and DVD for bench racing in the movie room

If you are traveling some distance and need a place to stay, there are a couple of motels within 5 miles (La Quinta Inn and a Pepper Tree Best Western).

Lunch - snacks, hamburgers, hot dogs, salad and soda (please donate $5 to the cause), bring your own beverages for stronger stuff.

Attendees: (Please RSVP that you are coming for a head count on the food)

Sounds like fun, thanks for hosting this event again Bryan!

I might even do some work on the bike this time. Looking forward to the day!

Got room for a third valve check?

Edit: Sorry looks like I did not read the first post which clearly said 2 valve checks.
Ralph if you can get up the night before we'll get you worked in. I can put up at the house and we can get the body work off Friday night

It nice meeting everyone at the last tech meeting, please count me in on the next one in October.

I would like to get my brake fluid flush.

I would like to do my head bearing if Marcus don't mine helping me when he is done with his steering head bearing. I will give him a call to discuss this with him.

I look forward to seeing everyone again!

Perfect, thanks, Bryan!

Looks like I am late to the party as well. It's getting time for my valve check/CCT replacement, but it looks like I'll have to wait for that. Did you say there would be another group doing them at a later date?

In the mean time, I'll need to clean out my front forks again. Had a nasty leak on my trip to VA (repaired with a Seal Mate) and it'd be nice to get them cleaned out and new fluid in there, just in case.

Adam, I plan on replacing my fork bushings, if your going to do your fork oil I would go ahead and replace the bushings if you have never replaced them. I have the list of parts you will need.
