Okay. Got some pics uploaded.
Heading up 65 toward the Marysville meeting spot, I came upon Mr. Carter,
travelling at about 50 over posted.
We gathered at the Chevron/Coffee shop place and did howdies.
The gfrans and the Dave Migs.
Roger has a sharp wit. And nice hair.
Geez, I couldn't think of a caption for this one. Not one that I can post.
Then we were rollin'.
They always make me ride in the back.
Then we stopped, ....to annoy other travelers at a rest stop.
Bigfoot sighting? Not sure.
All the babes ...and Ric. He's very happy.
Of course, you gather a crowd of wimmens, and you
had to know who'd show up.
"You guys let me lead, or I'll jump."
Man, this gal will be missed. And her old man too, I guess.
(Karen, you need to post that pic of your grandchild with that blond mop.
I don't much like kids, but we're talking DOLL.)
Okie dokie artichokie. Back on the road and heading for lunch in Quincy.
Okay. Didn't get any good pics of lunch.
But I was thinking I'd ask Patrick (Rsvlfeej) if he wanted to leave the group for a bit and hit
some fast twistie roads.
"Um, Patrick, do you want to-"
"LET'S GO!!!"
Alrighty.
We took off up Quincy/La Porte Rd., stopped up near the top, and then rode back down, then
zoomed south on 89, jumped on 49, and caught the group in Downieville. Then we took off ahead of
them (they'd eaten all the ice cream anyway) and rode in a spirited manner back to Grass Valley,
and then home. These are some pics of Patrick, when I could get close enough to him.
You don't see many Mavericks any more, huh?
Fire.
It ain't easy taking pictures of this *******, so forgive the poor composition.
If you ever get the chance to come to this area, and ride with these folks,
you'll never forget it.
Thanks all. Enjoyed the hell out of it.
