Good luck with the surgery and enjoy the drugs.

It sounds strange but I wish I was in your shoes with getting the back fixed but I haven't been able to get the VA to cooperate. Maybe 2015 is my year but after riding season. Keep us posted and somebody will be riding but not me it's 8 degrees and ice on the ground.

Good luck Joe and I am hoping to see you at EOM. Lumbar region, Posterior or anterior? Just to let you know the hardware alone after all is said and done could buy an FJR. You can change your avatar to be like Bionic pelvis has after the opp.

Hoping for fast recovery,

Dave

I was concerned about your surgery on New Years Eve day, some of the doctors staff are know to start the party early. The 7th ought to give them plenty of time to sober up.

Yeah...I was really looking forward to getting this over with. Now I'll have to deal with this for another week. Oh well...

Good luck and a speedy recovery, Joe....you'll be back on two wheels before you know it.

Hey Joe, my last name is Carver. As in Doc Carver. Have scalpel will travel!
If you can be here by 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, you're in...operating room is already reserved. If I'm not there...start without me.

Maybe I should edit the thread title to "First farkle of 2015".

Bummer aboot the postponement. Anticipation for this kind of event kinda sucks to begin with, then at the 11th hour there's nothing quite like getting the rug pulled out from under you.

Sorry to hear you'll be laid up for awhile.

Not much to do in this part of the country anyway!

Dad had that surgery, and he was like a new man.

See ya in the spring Joe.

Carver has nothing but bad luck and without that he has no luck at all. Don't believe me? Read all is post on his cycle issues while you heal. Don't let him near you with a knife.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Hi Joe,

All of my best wishes for successful surgery and speedy recovery. Back pain keeps me off my bike too much.

Good luck Joe and a speedy recovery to ya.

The other half had a full knee replaced ~3 weeks ago and her recovery has gone well enuf that the pain is already less than what she had been experiencing for more than the last three years. And that's just half of the stated initial recovery period.
