First tank scratch poem

Just got back from a tour of Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard and received my first tank scratch on the trip. I thought I'd commemorate it with a little poem...

Ahem...

I once scratched my tank on Nantucket.

It could've ruined my day but I thought "**** it".

I said with a grin,

as I rubbed my wee chin

I'd rather a tank scratch than kick the bucket.

Thank you. Thank you very much.

I'm hoping Brody doesn't see this thread... he makes up poems when rides.. He did one about MartyA's spill in Accident Maryland on the way back from EOM last year. He started reciting just as we were getting off the bikes at his place. I gotta tell you, after a 10hr day in the seat to here him suddenly blurt it out - was VERY bizarre!
