I hear you about different bikes. I ride my '05 FJR then get off it and on my '04 Suzuki SV-650s and its like a toy.

So much difference in a big in-line four cylinder and a smaller V-twin.

I traded an 06 FZ6 for my FJR. I have always heard negative comments about the suspension on those bikes since they are basically bottom end suspension components. I have spent a lot of time trying to tune the suspension on the FJR to match the FZ6 for my riding but so far no luck. I am hoping a new set of tires will remedy the situation. Right now my front tire is worn out on the sides and bulging in the middle. Apparently I don't ride enough strait aways. I loved the way the FZ6 carved corners and I also loved the sound of the engine when it got about 10-13k rpm. IMHO, anyone considering getting a second bike and has some good curvy roads nearby, should at least check out a 600cc range bike before buying.
