Don't anyone be jealous. Yet

I have no idea how our gear will be dry enough by morning to pull it back on

I'll let you know when to be jealous (I hope )

A fine time was had by all. You know, these BMW folks aren't as bad as you guys would have me believe. I had to ride in the back of the pack though. Except when we were on I 10, theni it was you have a radar? by all means, lead. We'll just hang back a half mile or so

As MEM said, it was a very wet day and I've ridden in the PWN. Better tommorow, ta ta.

Hola Miguelito, El Grandes Dane y El Borracho Niehart,

Stopped at Playa Coyote - Baja California Sur yesterday evening, I had them rake up the sand around our Palapas. I also had them rebuild the fire pits, a Chubasco storm had torn up our campsites.

The rains finally stopped at Noon yesterday at San Ignacio, three straight days of riding rain in Mexico was really getting to us. I briefly thought that Maria Elena - MEM was going to mutiny on us and jump on a sailboat at Bahia de Los Angeles with a group of Frenchmen from Marseilles, but I promised Mary Ellen unlimited tequila at Dos Cabos and she then rode on like a real trooper, Valiente!

Hasta la vista, mis Amigos!

Papa Chuy Viejo - Don Stanley

We've arrived in Cabo San this afternoon. Boy, for a place on the oceon you'd think it'd be warmer than 85 but that as high as it got coming in to the resort. Don was an expert at negotiating the traffic that is cabo. We got the scenic tour coming in. A great dinner, met the other riders spouses and enjoyed every ones company. Riding up to Todo Santos tommorow with our significant others. Should be entertaining. Buenos Noche.

I heard it raining in the middle of the night and I was afraid to face the Wrath of Maria Elena - MEM, Thank mis Dios that it is now HIgh Noon and El Sol is shining brightly!

Safe and Sound in Cabo San Lucas, eating-drinking-partying! Excellent dinner at Mariscos Mazatlan last night, great breakfast at Las Palomas in the Pueblo Bonito Blanco Hotel.

Riding to Todos Santos for lunch at the famous Hotel California, will shop for silver/turquoise jewelry for our Honeys. Going on a booze cruise ship through Los Arcos at Sunset.

We got all of the motos washed at a Coche Lavado for 80 pesos each, $6.35. The mud was rolling off of the bikes in sheets, 4 days of rain riding added 20 lbs. of Mexican dirt.

Brian's F800GS has a stretched out drive chain: We went on a search for a replacement, no 525's for Beemers or KTM's available. We bought 2 replacement links, will field repair!

Just a quick reminder. Two for One happy hour is not necessarily a good thing. Things are moving kinda slow this morning

But what a great day. At one point Senor Stanley and I were swimming in the surf and when we tried to come ashore some do gooders kept trying to save us by pushing us back in. Just Saying and Nuff Said.

Thanks for the report in y'all! Does the Blanco still have two for ones around 3:00??

junior -- I hear the Mango Deck has awesome Bloody Mary's to cure the morning blues!

Si Jorge, the Blanco still has the two for one specials from 1400-1500 hours. Plus, the Pueblo Bonito Rose next door has that same special from 1100-1700 at the pool bar.

We are going to walk to the Mango Deck for drinks today and have a taxi carry us back home this evening. We leave for Estados Unidos tomorrow, before our livers fail us!

The Rose has a pretty spectacular pool too, lots of scenery...perfect for a little R & R after a long day's ride!

Just came back from a most excellent meal at Pancho's, Roasted pork shanks, y Repasado 1800 margaritas. Stopped by Cabo Wabo on the way back. Had to drag MEM out by the arm, I think she likes rock and roll dancing. After I leave Az we're going to come back through Cali. Where the hell is Betty Ford Clinic?
