FJR Image needed Expeditiously - Original Art Needed for Red Lodge Tee Shirts

The Red Lodge Tee Shirts on Hold

I used an Image from somewhere on the Interweb last year, had no problems getting it approved by Yamaha corporate.

This year I didn't want to mess with Yamaha Corporate so I made no reference to MamaYama in either Logo or Name or FJR1300 on the shirt.

The Art Checker at the TeeShirt vendor discovered the image i was using is out of a freely distributed free coloring book on the Interweb.

They won't print shirts until i get permission to use the image from the "owner".

I have requested permission. I've also contacted Yamaha corporate to see if they have an FJR line drawing approved for use that I can use.

If anyone has an "ORIGINAL" line drawing of an FJR they would let me use I would be most grateful.

I've got a badass picture, but no way to convert it to pencil. Didn't MS Paint do that back in the day?

I've got a buddy that's a graphic artist, and he has converted photographs to drawings for my wife's embroidery business. It wouldn't be free, but if you want I could ask him what he could do and get a price.

GIMP is a free graphics program. It can do a lot.

It can make any image into a pencil sketch. Tinker with Step 4 here to get as much detail (or less) as you want. Stop at Step 7 or so.

Quick & dirty, this is my 1985 Yamaha FJ1100, but you can use any FJR image you want.

Problem solved.

Tee shirt producers art department will produce line drawing of an FJR image i sent to them at no charge. They guarantee the shirts will be delivered by June 21st
