FJR Mileage Milestones

I have nothing to compare with GG but hope get KrZy8 to 250k soon. It's been struggle of love, money, and time.. 

But we will get there.

Doug, I lost 4 months of Prime Time riding last year but still put over 30,000 miles on my FJR's. Ole Grey is still in the shop waiting for front L&R panels etc. to be put on. If I have a good year in 2021 I will have accomplished 2 major goals. You know the first, I'm sure but the 2nd one has to do with my other 6 bikes I have owned before the FJR's. any guesses to what that goal is? NOW, HANG ON TO YOUR HELMETS, I HAVE RODE IN 4 OTHER STATES TO DATE !!! HOW ABOUT THOSE APPLES??????

The first one is to reach 500,000 on ole grey and when I do this and add in the mileage from my 2 other FJR's and mileage from my previous 6 motorcycles, I will have a total of 1,000,000 miles..!!!!!

That's coolio, GG! I have over 1 million on all the bikes.. but it's taken along time, 2 divorces, and more smiles than miles... JSNS!

My 2006 FJR is no more. 4th gear would not stay engaged so I put it out to pasture. It had 248,750 miles on it when Copart took it away. No plans to replace it at this time, but many of my accessories went to a coworker who bought a used 2012 FJR the weekend before I waved goodbye to mine. I kept the saddle bags, bar risers, and spare gas cap in case someone has need of them. I will continue to log in to this site because this group has a great sense of humor and willingness to help each other.

Congratulations on your 300k, I have two interesting numbers that just came up also,  km went from 750 to 772,320 which equals a nice round number of 480,000 miles. 500,000 is just a few months away now. ( I hope ) Check my avatar for recent mileage.

What is her OD at now? I ask because I am about 21k short on my ‘08. I’ll be in Cali again in July, but quite a bit south of you.

I'm almost embarrassed to post, given the mileage so many have attained, but crossed the 100k mile threshold last night on a 3 pass blast after work. Hwys 410, 123 and 12, hit the mark just east of Rimrock Dam. Had to take advantage of the somewhat cooler temps thanks to some cloud cover.

Wow, I have closed some gap between our bikes. Mine has 3,700 to go now. If I end up doing another ride that I am considering, the ‘08 will be closing in on my ‘05’s final mileage.

Hit this milestone today on the ‘08. Seems random, but it is the ‘05s final OD reading when I decided to part it out.

I hit 50,000 miles a couple of weeks ago on a loop over to the Coast and back.

Lots of great memories of riding with my Dad in that total who’s now deceased.

Next goal is 75K……..
