Shep, Marc, and all. Thanks for the real world feedback. It's become readily apparent that the simple solution to my dilemma is two bikes. Of course, always being just a half bubble off, I've never achieved perfect world status. But my wife, God bless her, thinks we have. Her solution is a new GS and find a deal on a used FJR. Great advice from someone who is just a bit apprehensive about swinging a leg over anything. If the '06 FJR comes in a red flavor I might do a flip flop. Thanks again.
