I just broke the tie and should be able to start firming things up after this weekend.
Buenos Dias mi Compadre 'UberKul' Brad, I just sent you a Private Message, please call or e-mail me as soon as you read it: [email protected] or 1-480-440-4666.
Hi Brad, I just sent you another Private Message, I negotiated the same rates to the penny that Sir Richard got us last year, but based upon 3 nights!

:yahoo: Dates have been set and venue established so take a look at the top post in this thread.

All updates, changes or important information will be included in the top post.

I'm in. I will book something as soon as I can decide if I am taking the toy hauler or getting a room.

Anyone else going to bring a trailer and stay in the rv park?

As now posted to AZ Beemers, BMW MOA Club #89 web site forum: https://www.azbeemers.org/forum/index.php?topic=3518.msg26069;topicseen#msg26069

AZ Beemers Death Valley Daze and FODS V dates are now

firmly set for March 15th-18th of 2012.

As much as I would like to make this start on one side of the park and end on the other I just don't think it's practical. Getting the trucks/trailers to the finish point would require too many non-riders to jockey vehicles while we play. So DVD Headquarters is Longstreet Inn & Casino

Longstreet Inn and Casino will be the primary base of operations for this moto assault on the desert. https://www.longstreetcasino.com 1-775-372-1777 e-Mail: [email protected]

Don Stanley (BeemerDonS) had to play some poker with Marybelle and Monica to get us a reduced rate at the Longstreet Casino. This rate only applies to three nights occupancy of March 15-17, 2012. If only two nights are booked it will be $10 higher per each of the categories below!

$39.95 for a Standard Room with two queen beds on the Highway side of the property; still very quiet for restful sleeping.

$49.95 for a Standard Room on the pond/park side of the property; also with two beds, but away from the main highway!

$59.95 for a Suite; these are really nice and swank; on the pond/park side with a King Extra Bed, fireplace and nice patio.

When FJR Forum Members book they must mention FODS and either throw out the name of Don Stanley, BeemerDonS or 'UberKul' Brad.

When AZ Beemers Members book, they must mention Death Valley Daze 2012 and throw out the name Don Stanley or BeemerDonS.

I'll work up a couple of off road day rides for Friday and Saturday in the 150-200 mile range, but they should all be big bike friendly with a gas stop shoved in there somewhere. VStroms, BMW GS's, KTM's etc. should be fine on all these roads, with some reduced tire pressure.

These will be unsupported rides so bring food, fuel and tools to take care of yourself for a whole day out riding in varied weather conditions. There is little to no cell service in this park and any problems we have will be self rescue unless life threatening. I'm still a rookie Death Valley rider but feel free to PM me if you have any questions or concerns. Please contact Don Stanley at [email protected] or 1-480-440-4666 Or send me AZB Forum Private Message.

If you don't have a dual sport bike feel free to come anyway. The weather should be good but us dirty boys will have all the fun stories and mock the slaves to pavement mercilessly! ;)

PLEASE NOTE: I'm looking for a Road Ride Captain or two to lead the street bikes. Son Seth, Miss Donna and I will be going up to the Longstreet Inn aboard our Jeep Liberty Diesel SUV with our BMW GS on its motorcycle trailer. So, I'm hoping for a volunteer M/C Ride Captain.

Somebody buy my FJR and Man-Strom so I can afford to ride my Super Tenere down to this gathering! (but don't tell anybody that I'll probably be there end of January for the White Stag Rally...).

Iam ready to go back in time again for the 3rd year in a row, booked my room at the world famous Longstreet 15-18 March 12, and I am riding the GS look out dirt

Steve

Sir Richard: Can Brad "UberKul" and I count on you to be the Primary Road Ride Captain? If NIehart comes down for this, perhaps you can utilize him as your Secondary.

On the Off Road Rides, Brad is the Primary Captain and I am the Secondary. Which means, Brad leads the young and fast dirt riders; and Papa Chuy: I lead the slow, geriatric, senile and decrepit dirt donk riders.

It would make comon sense for you to do so in the same manner with the services of "Pops"!

I'm booked. The Suite for 3 days is cheaper than pulling my toy hauler up there :yahoo:

Brad/Don - I may be taking a trip up there for a weekend before March so if you want me to do any intel gathering let me know.
