Got my rolling rocks, pizza, jerky, chips, etc. Got my bets in. Hope to see good games today, and hope to see our cards make it to the super bowl! :yahoo:

marcusorelius: Amen, Brother! Wouldn't it be nice if our Red Birds finally pulled it off? We have been suffering lost here in the Sonoran desert for way too long now. A trip to the Super Bowl would finally end the Buddy Ryan/Dennis Greene jokes!!!

By the way, you do know we of the Arizona FJR Forum are passing through Kingman around noon this coming Friday 1/23!?!

All of the information is under Southwest here on the Forum; Wolfhound and I are leading the Annual Death Valley Daze Run

Cool, perhaps I can ride with ya all up to Vegas as my pops in the hospital there and Friday might be a good time for me to go up and visit him again

No no no, it's the PA superbowl this time!

As much as I like the Disney tale that the Ravens have been and as much as I'd like to see them beat Pitt, I think the injuries will do them in today.

Bob

Here is the superbowl match-up the RenoJohn household is rooting for:

Got the bets in, got the beer cold, ......and in 1/2hour kickoff for the girls conference (NFC) happens

then late this afternoon......the boys (AFC) play .

For that game may be down at one of the Casino Sport Bars to best appreciate it and bump up the wagers.

Good Luck Arizona, .....and may The Ravens get *****-slapped like the little school girls that they are.

The Arizona Cardinals have got to be the worst Football franchise in the in the NFL. I could care less about the bleepin Cardinals.

Still, I love to see an underdog pull off 'claimed' impossible.

So, since my Bears yet again wallowed in the pit of mediocrity, Go Cards! I guess.

You guys might get your hopes fulfilled. 3 minutes to go in the first half and it's 21-6 Cards!

Well, it's not like they are beating a good team or anything. It's a battle of the wanna-bees.

So remind me, how does a team that wins only 9 games get into the playoffs? The NFC is inordinately bad.

Lookiin Good Baby! :clapping:
Yeah, lookin good for another Spedcial Olympics stupor bowl.

Wellll....I'm no longer a football fan. Too many games that appeared to have a fixed (or chosen) outcome, too many spoiled whiney-baby-spoiled-brat players, too many days spent with my emotional state dependent upon the outcome of a game, too many rabid fans thinking they were cheated, everyone has a better plan, etc., etc., etc.
I'm not about to rain on the parade of those who can celebrate the team of their locale or favor winning a game.

Edit:

Uh-oh! How the fortunes can change after half-time.

10:45 to go in the 4th quarter. Eagles 25, Cards 24.

And the dome has gotten a little more quiet.

Yeah. They looked great in week 16 when they lost to the Pats 47 - 7. The only reason they got any score at all was NE sent on their subs.

Nah... Just the winningest team in the NFL in modern history.

Enjoy your victory. I have a feeling it will be short lived. ;)

I love it. Even up in the home of the "arch enemy" Seahawks, it is great to see 2 teams in 5 years out of the "weak" NFC West make it to the SB. Better luck ( and referees') than the Seahawks had. Go Cards!
