I have no idea where they are spending the night tonight. There's a couple of big buildings, but it's not near any town I know of.

OK, wow. So today, they blow off both Urique and Cerocahui, but instead turn around and backtrack somewhat, then head west through the forest. Pretty much through the middle of nowhere. Now, they are at the edge of a rather large lake. I assume this is where the famous ferry crosses, or they've got a long swim ahead of them.

The website itinery said they should be on the beach this evening. Hah. I think they may make Chiox if they can get across the lake.

Looks like they are spending the night at Lake Hiutes Lodge.

BTW, have I mentioned lately how retired guys like BeemerDonS suck?

The plan said they were going to the beach. But the track never left the lake. I guess the spot didn't get turned on.

Looks like they spent Friday at the Lake. Saturday, they went to the beach near Huatabampo.
You are correct sir. We are currently in Alamos and will be heading back into Canyon Country tomorrow. This is a MAJOR adventure. Serious dirt switchback roads. KTM's getting watered out since that junk won't even run on water.

KTM's loosing rear brakes and then trying to go down steep sandy twisty roads. KTM's getting knocked over by crazy Mexican pickup drivers (no one got hurt and the bike was no worse for the wear).

I'll be doing a proper report later but for now I'm taking names and keeping notes.

Buenos Noches El Irlande Compadre Miguel Viejo y mi Otra Motocicletas Muchachos,

Mas Caminos y Mas Amigos en Mexico para mis Adventuristas en Mexico. Fantastico!

Incredible scenery, very tough but passable roads and extremely difficult water crossings also.

Change of plans due to rough terrain and Mexican Army Soldiers hitting us with their rifle butts.

Once we convinced them we were not Narcos o gun runners, we spent the night at San Isidro Lodge.

Beach was gorgeous at Huatabampolito and the most incredible Camarones y Pescado La Comida.

On to Chiniapas tomorrow and may be able to once again make a stop in Urique; then Baseachic!

Hasta lluego y mas Suerte! We ride South with Pancho Villa for Gold and Glory! Viva Mexico! Fiesta!

Recuerdos y Saludos, Papa Chuy Medina "El Burrito Ballerina" y Senorita Salma Hayek, mi Amora

What? Are we turning off the spot? No data between Alamos and Chinipas.

We are camped out at the Hotel Paraiso del Oso for the night and setting up for the last day of riding.

Here are a few photos from today to hold you over.
