What is the torque specs for the steering head nuts and the upper and lower fork clamps. Forks are at Traxxion being rebuilt, and while they are off I have greased the steering head bearings and need to make sure I get it all tightend up right when it all goes back together.

52 nm initial tightening for the steering head lowering nut, after loose one turn and then tighten to the final tightening 18 nm.

115 nm for the steering stem nut.

34 nm for the upper triple clamp bolt

23 nm for the two lower bolts

I hope it helps..

Michalis is correct.

When I did mine I printed out this:

as I don't have a metric torque wrench.

Different converted ft/lb values than found here.

Also, fwiw, after servicing mine had the 'clunk' at 13 ft-lbs. and is still detectable at 20. Might snug it a little more just to see the difference. And from what I found inside, wished I had left well enough alone.

Thanks for catching that! I thought I'd deleted that one, correct version should be there now.

Strangely, it was after reading Mark's site that I corrected myself originally.
