I admit I'm Gen 2 curious--especially about the temperature gauge. But, in the end I never acted on the impulse and in the sober light of morning I'm glad I didn't do it.

I guess if you fix the heat problems a Gen1 would be 'OK' BUT... The dash gauges look old (and are) and tail-lights look dated. Newer is def better. I will test drive a G3 and when avail if I like, cya G2... that's just the way it goes.
